This white woman’s shocking account of police brutality reveals the importance of the #BlackLivesMatter movement

Molly Suzanna shared a story on Facebook that she had never told before: when she was 19, she ran a red light while crying, then was pulled over and forcefully removed and beaten by a police officer. She explains in the letter that she believes her situation would have been even worse had she been black — and she ends the letter with an important call to action.

Pro lifers get a lot of hate. We’re not the ones murdering people.

Except you are:

Between 1993 and 2015 there have been seven events of successful murders of both clinic workers and doctors which culminated in the deaths of eleven people. All done by self-proclaimed pro-lifers.

Between 1982 1998 there have been 8 events of attempted murder, assault, and kidnapping.

47,000 people die every year because people like you deny them access to abortion.

Savita Halappanavar, a 31 year old woman died due to a septic miscarriage. An abortion would have saved her life but pro-lifers let her die because ‘the baby still had a heartbeat’ even though she begged for an abortion.

An El Salvadorean woman only known as ‘Beatriz’ was denied an abortion and forced to undergo an unnecessary c-section that ended with the death of the baby, which was born with no brain. Beatriz now lives with the scars of El Salvador’s staunchly anti-abortion laws and suffers numerous health issue, most of which could have been avoided had she been allowed to abort.

So no, you may not be directly killing people personally, but your ilk definitely are.

Also worth noting: Abortion is not and will never be murder. It doesn’t fit the definition of murder, which is a legal term and has very specific requirements that abortion fails to meet across the board.

Pro choicers and abortion doctors have killed no people. Pro lifers kill about 47,000 people every year, and have committed numerous other acts of terrorism, and crime through the years with other pro lifers hailing them ‘hero’s’ and saying they feel no sympathy for the victims.

A few days ago I was dispatched to a private residence for an elderly woman. She had fallen down a flight of concrete stairs outside in the rain. When my partner and I arrived, we found her holding a blood soaked towel to her head, which was bleeding profusely. She was kind but quiet. Maybe from the blood loss, I’m not sure. I cared for her on scene as I would any other patient. I controlled the bleeding as best I could, started an IV and began administering fluids. While en route to the hospital she turned to me. Her eyes were captivating. Piercing, icy blue. She began recanting, in her thick Irish accent, the tales of her journey to America at the age of 16.  She was a refugee-Ireland was at war at the time and each family was given a single visa to escape to America. One visa. Her parents gave it to her. So one morning, she left her sister and her parents and huddled with dozens others on an overcrowded boat, starving for 8 days as they traveled to a new land through Ellis Island. She made it. Years later she would meet her husband and they would have a child together. She told me of the struggles she endured with her family. And the joys too-though those were far outnumbered by the former. I listened intently as I cleaned the dried blood off her hands and face. Then she paused; Hesitated for a few seconds as she carefully selected her next words.

My son was murdered 3 months ago, she whispered, her voice wavering slightly. My grandson found his body. Propped up against a couch. A week later my husband dropped dead from a heart attack. So, I hope this kills me today. I want to meet the bastard who dares to call himself God. I want to look him dead in the eyes. And ask how a man who allows such horrors to exist in this world could possibly believe he is deserving of the title, ‘God.’
